Description
Ōkami is a hero I made in the Mutants and Masterminds RPG based off of Amaterasu from the game Ōkami.

His origin is that he's an ancient god from a culture before history. He helped humanity flourish and protected it from the dangers of their ancient time. He constantly fought with a great evil, but it threatened to grow far more powerful than he could contend with, so he used the last of his power to seal it away. In doing so he also sealed himself away, since he had no power with which to recover.

Many thousands of years later, he awakens to find that the world is not as he left it, but he can feel the presence of the great evil starting to grow once again. If he is awake, it must be awakening too. His power is based on belief, and he has completely faded from the minds of humanity, so he must perform acts of heroism to gain the belief and hope of the people he protects so that he can face this great evil when it shows itself once again.

He can take human form, and the stone wings floating on his back can change shape into a sword and some other stuff for use in combat and utility. He only got played for one session, so he's a little underdeveloped.

I imagine his coloration is gold with red markings.
