Description

Iblys is Anizhar's loyal and stalwart villa guard. During the day he watches the gate to ensure that no guests are left standing in the desert heat, and that none of the rakshasa's jealous neighbors cause any trouble around the place.

Unlike most of the gnolls in Anizhar's employ, who were put on the slave market in Katapesh after being apprehended and turned in by adventurers; Iblys was apparently deemed too dangerous or undesirable and found himself on the chopping block. Anizhar only narrowly rescued the hound from a death sentence. Anizhar's willingness to give him a second chance when no one else facilitated a strong bond between the two of them. Iblys is as obedient and eager as a puppy to do whatever Anizhar needs of him.

Recently Iblys has become romantically involved with Nika, a gnoll witch dedicated to the goddess of monsters, Lamashtu. When Anizhar returned with his entourage from slaying the Carrion King to clear the dark cloud of dread from over Nika's head he found her cackling with delight. When he arrived at her room to check on her, she demanded a child to sacrifice for her goddess. Anizhar volunteered himself to help her make a child, but she assumed him too old, joking that he probably shoots dust.

Iblys had been standing guard over her, to ensure that she didn't take her own life from dispair. When called upon, he was eager to perform. Turns out he's into femdom. Afterwards, Anizhar suggested that she consider keeping the child, and that he would never forgive Nika if she hurt Iblys' feelings.

Even later, during Anizhar's absense in Kakkishon, after Rath Sandstalker underwent his drastic physical transition into the Matron of his tribe, He and Nika arranged a political marriage to increase his standing with the more religious members of the tribe. Despite having Iblys having been romantically involved with Nika for several months prior.

Turns out Iblys is pretty into it.
