Kuskyn woke up one day on the rainy streets of the Westgate district . Hazy memories of himself as a strong, beautiful elf with elegant antlers and long, silky hair lay faded in his mind. He tried going back to what he remembered as his home in Westgate, but nothing felt quite right, and in short order he was run out of the district by the guards, forced into the Puddles where stinky little goblins belong. It’s been three years since then, and he’s never looked back.

The first few months were stealing scraps of food and eating garbage when he couldn’t manage that. He knew he needed to learn to fight. His goblin body made him surprisingly durable, so he was a natural fit for the Muckruckers, the Puddles’ closest equivalent to a guard force. The cause was mostly-good, and he could get into fights and even get paid for it. He spent 2 years training; learning the ins-and-outs of combat, familiarizing himself with his team, and getting into trouble. People came and went quickly - either dying, turning up missing, or leaving for safer employment. But Kuskyn was in it for the long-haul. He was fighting for a cause!

Kuskyn gradually gained a reputation for being… loose and flexible, and not with his morals. Despite his poor hygiene, something about the muscular little goblin was extremely alluring. Even folks who would never look at a goblin twice would take long, lusty looks Kuskyn’s way. It helped that he was unusually muscular for a goblin - with perfectly toned abs and overdeveloped pecs - a himbo if you’d ever seen one. He quickly became the captain’s favorite member of the Muckruckers.

Anyone else would have rested on their laurels, content to live the good life of doing under the table favors for the captain and lazing around - but not Kuskyn. He was the best fighter in the Muckruckers by a mile, and he was bound and determined to do his job to the best of his ability. The favors were just a perk of the job!

His excellent service even got him noticed by the leadership of other district guards. Grospek Lavarsus, the captain of the Edgewatch guard precinct, extended him a personal invitation to join the guard in the newly reclaimed precipice district and make a name for himself protecting the people during the Radiant Festival. Kuskyn was more than happy to accept the transfer, with all the same job perks of course.
