In 1929 Belgian artist René Magritte had a strange thought; namely that he'd never painted anything...only images that represented things. His famous painting The Treachery of Images represented this...

"This is not a pipe" reads the French text, and it is utterly true. It is a painting of a pipe!
In this quick digital doodle, using entirely images I found on the net (I hope that's good with DA rules...), we see not a tree! No, no, no! We see instead a pixelated representation of a pony who would like to be a tree!
This is not so much a commentary on Symbolism and the works of René Magritte as it is an exploration of what The Descendant can get away with on his work computer over a lunch break using the hyper-basic photo-manipulation software that came installed on the thing...

However, there's a spelling mistake. In French, all nouns got a gender, and a tree is male (sounds silly, I know xD). So it's "un arbre", and not "une arbre".
