I actually just used a white marker for all the white and then just went over it with ball point pen for the outline

This is just too funny and amazing. I don't see how it can be illegal, though, considering a lot of places sell dollar bills with the faces of other people on them (celebrities, cartoons, etc.) and can be used as real currency.
