Selina has been around since 1940....so in reality, she probably would be over a hundred years old.
She was created by Bob finger and Bill kane.

At first she started out as a petty thief and minor threat. She spent half the time flirting with him and trying to kill him or simply embarrass him.
She wanted to prove she was better then him.

As the decades past, her character went through as massive change and overhaul.
She became a scary and actual threat to him.
Almost killing him on a dozen or so times. She wasn't just some pretty face anymore but a main player in the game.

Where her intelligence and cruelty had almost no limits (depending what version of her you read)
But still had soft spot for cats, kids and Batman (unless he ticked her off)

Like spiderman and black cat, they're fights were more dancing then actual fighting.
He always held back, she never received his full wrath but only for a handful of books.

I remember one, when she joined with joker and he had enough of her crap...
He put her in the hospital for three months, kind of a time out, to think about what she had done.
