Well, Steve Borden has finally retired from wrestling.
The Man known as Sting, has hit the lights and locked the door, for the last.

It was a perfect send off for him.
AEW might not be an challenge for the wwe and frankly it doesn't need to. It needs to be an alternative to the wwe.

That's where Sting comes into play. I'm glad he didn't retire with the wwe because he was never really one of them.
He was WCW, the outside company and main rival to WWF.

And having retired with a none WWE Company, not because Steve hated the company or anything but because of his former WCW status as Top Rival to the wwe as Sting.
The character of Sting was always regarded as WCW guy and Never as a WWE guy.
Even when he was in the WWE, for a short period of time.

They still treated him as the old guard of wcw and that was cool.

Of the different versions of Sting, The classic Crow Sting will always my personal favorite. Like myself, the crow had a big influence on Sting. Hence the dark character and brooding background.
Dropping from the rafters and swinging a baseball bat. This gothic warrior became a hit with the fans.
It felt like he was keeping Brandon's spirit alive with his take on the character and nobody complained about it.

Surfer Sting

I wasn't a fan of surfer sting but I know someone who is.
Bat22 is a fan of Surfer Sting.
So this part is reserved for him.

Well, everything good must come to an end.
He has retired and we all loved him for it and the wwe even paid their respects to the legend.

But as the undertaker once said "Never Say Never"

It's SSSSSTTTTIIINNNGGGG!!!!! Good old tony, He also helped with creating Sting's Myth.
Like Jim Ross and Ston cold Steve Austin.
I'm honestly going to miss that lol
