Okay, so, Trivia Time! The idea for Venomverse, actually stems from a ‘What-If’ story where Peter Parker died and his corpse was reanimated by the Venom Symbiote and then just started calling itself “Poison”. Given its own twisted logic (and biological necessity), it later went on to attempt to breed with Mary Jane, but, when she refused it, it then attached itself to Gwen Stacy’s remains, reanimating her as well and using her to propagate its species. If the Poisons are actually coming from somewhere, then it’s definitely from her, this is just what I think she would look like by now.
