Dex was born in the acid fields of Markazia and grew up an only child. His childhood was mainly uneventful, at least, that's what he says. He's always been obsessed with nature and animals, so it was no surprise when he pursued a career in conservation. He had a rocky road to his degrees and getting through college, but was able to graduate, albeit a year later.

-Abilities/Powers-

Beyond his skills with his job, he is a very active person, enjoying a great deal of outdoor activities; Hiking, Fishing, Rock collecting... He's good at finding valuable rocks, minerals, and metals.
From his mother, he gained some unique abilities and mutable physical characteristics. He has geokinesis, can manifest lightbolts (which are high powered energy projectiles), and has a personalized weapon (which can be called upon by him and him alone).
