This is not over yet Trixie, do not forget that season 3 finale is a 3 parter, and so far we saw only part 1 where Twilight transform and become princess, there are still 2 parts where she take down some sort of super villain, and considering that we have:
Twilight Alicorn and her friends, all with elements of harmony, reformed Discord ( king of chaos ), Princess of the Sun Celestia, princess of the night Luna, ruler of Crystal Empire Cadance, former captain of the Royal guard Shinning Armor, Twilight own banner ponies ( rarity skin, yellow hair, flag with Twilight cutie mark on it, give them sunglasses and we will have Twilight personal secret agents ), and they all have NO MORE EXCUSES to disappear ( so far Celestia and Luna were useless or not helping because they were testing Twilight, now when Twilight passed test, they can finally help mane 6 in protecting Equestria ).
I can not even imagine what kind of super epic villain or villains will show up for the most epic battle in MLP show history.
