Because this is what this was for me....i really tried to take on something way above my abilities, i knew there was no way to get it to look decent in such a short time but as i said a few other times, ATGs are for training so let's push it to the limits, eh? Just like twilight
Today's theme for EQD's Artist training ground wasΒ Draw an emotional pony / Draw a pony fit to burst and i think Twilight here qualifies for both

Anyway, I love this picture. Β It's more than decent, if you ask me. Β The emotions run strong through Twilight's body language and expression along with your effective use of color (I'm not an art critic, BTW; I'm just sharing my thoughts Β ). Β And yeah, Twilie certainly does qualify for both, and you pushing your limits resulted in a fine piece of art!

I did try a few times actually, but still, glad you liked it!
The fire on the background is supposed to be low definition and effect to not mess too much with the tail and hair, i felt it'd be too crowded otherwise

I see. Did you try adding more cinders? That coulda helped with the crowded issue of fire while still leeping it fiery. Either way, it's a great picture!

I honestly didn't want to give too much importance to the BG, i used it just to set the mood, i just needed for it to be recognizable so i didn't try to make it detailed or anything
