um, for your information, AJ is not this defenceless little cutie you can use to give Bronies your fucking seal of approval. She is a strong, hard working, mare pony, who happens to be a great role-model to young girls everywhere, along with all the other characters. Not just some fucking kitty cat Bronies can look at and say "DAWWWWW DATZ MAH WAIFU"

Okay, I would like you to explain to me how this picture - this picture alone - changes the ENTIRE definition of Applejack's character. Explain to me how this picture is the dictionary definition of who Applejack is. Tell me how this sole picture alone will make EVERYBODY think that she is some pet.
I would like to see you try to make it out as the horrible, cancerous picture you make it out to be.
PS: In all honesty, the characters in the show had moments that are just as silly and absurd as this. Like for example, Applejack stubbornly not accepting help and think she can buck an entire part of an orchard all by herself. After scaring away bunnies, making her friend crash into a tree, and make baked goods that gave food poisoning to anybody who ate them, Applejack decided that she could ACTUALLY use the help.
So yeah. I don't see how this picture affects anybody opinion when there's stuff like that. And that's just an example from Season 1.

Ok, how about the episode where Applejack would much rather like to get rid of a colony of bats instead of being generous and dedicating a part of her orchard to them? If this wasn't catered to kids, I think AJ would have suggested an exterminator and kill them all.

It was for the well-being of her family. I know this is really, really late, but it bothered me. She did tell the tale of how her previous family members almost lost the orchard to a whole infestation. In the end, she still has to give up half. I know in the song it was said ''They'll help your trees, they'll grow stronger, faster!'', which is a good point. However, a tree takes time to grow, and I have my doubts that if the bats took down the whole orchard, it would grow back entirely before cider sales. She had so much to lose. If a bat was in your house, or workplace, you likely wouldn't let it stay there, either.

In all honestly, I think there are better ways to keep the silliness without having to downgrade Applejack to something like... this.
Honestly, I would like to see Applejack interrogating a pear about where her missing, precious apples seeds are.

I honestly am saddened you'd think I would try to actually degrade a character of the show. This is meant to be taken with a light heart and to have a laugh at how ridicolous the whole situation is. Besides, AJ is my favourite character and I can assure you I would be the first to be offended at something trying to actually offend her or her fans.
