Description They said i could be anything...they were right

I was finally convinced to work on my OC so there you have it!

I've never been good at this but i tried to make a little backstory for him:

His name, as you can see, is Carbon Copy and yes, he is a changeling. Being very well versed in the arts of disguise and intel gathering, this changeling prefers the winning side and decided to affiliate himself with the ponies and in order to do so, he changed his diet to Love Poison once he found out it tastes good.

Even though he is what you'd define a good spy, Carbon Copy loves to play pranks and can at times be reckless, to the point of blowing his cover. Being used to be the predator, he isn't exactly kind or generous but he is trying to get used to this new strange life, with some little hiccups along the way.


As i said, i'm not used at coming up with ideas for OCs so i hope you find this good

Okay, I gotta admit, this guy is astonishingly well-dressed. Too bad he's a traitor to the GLORIOUS Changeling Empire and thus must have his head chopped off and brought before the Queen, right in front of his wife and foals.

Shouldn't they do that in the opposite order? Or is the Queen interested in headless corpses being brought before her? I mean, i don't judge but i find it impractical

Yeah, sorry, I meant to say, have his head chopped off in front of his family and have his head delivered to the Queen. Makes more sense that way.

Glad you like it! Bad guys and trench coats really are a good pair in movies...and i really loved every Indiana Jones movie so its a good thing the design is reminiscent of that

Well, he used a similiar outfit for the song "Smooth Criminal", but the setting really called for it. It's almost tradition for gumshoes and criminals to wear that in gangsters movies, tradition i followed since i partly took inspiration from noir movies

Now THIS is a very well characterized Changeling oc He looks amazing!
And his design almost reminds me of the doctor from Jurassic park, adding to his maturity, kindness, and devotion to his work.

Thank you, i'm glad you like it i did my best to have him look interesting without going overboard

For the design, i was partly inspired by old noir movies, i always found those to have a very peculiar charm and mistery to them.
Then again, the trench coat is a symbol used in many movies and can assume different connotation...just like a changeling
