First thing first, the lineart doesn't belong to me. It belongs to ~Illucien who kindly accepted that I would color it.

I had a lot of fun coloring it, but the lineart was something to trace. I passed, at least six hours on it. And I'm still not satisfied with Shadow's left shoe, but I told myself at some point that I could be lazy. And the worst part were Shadow's shoes. Too many details!!! I wanted to kill whoever designed them by the time I was done. But hey, I'm slightly idealistic and I don't stop until I'm done.
In total, there's a bit more than twelve hours of work just on this.
As for the background, a friend of mine gave me a nice tutorial and I decided to use it for this picture.
It's now about 2a.m. on the first of January and I have a terrible headache from not going to sleep yet.

I agree with you on the shoes, they are so detailed!! I drew them without reference so I guess I automatically simplified them with the original. They turned out very good though!
You are so dilligent, I can't believe how quickly you finished everything, it's amazing, my favorite is probably how you did Shadow's face. The blush looks especially nice.

As for the shoes, I am extremely lucky 'cause I was working with not one, not two, but three references, two of them being on my wallpaper.
