Description
Enid was built by a workshop on the Great Western Railway in 1870. She worked on the line for six years shunting and pulling branch line trains. In 1876, she was purchased by the Wellsworth and Suddery Railway for goods trains. She did this work efficiently and without fuss for many years. In 1915, she was passed into NWR ownership, and reassigned to the Arlesburgh branch line. When the line was shut down she was demoted to a utility engine, doing any jobs that needed doing. In 1969, she was re-allocated to the Harwick branch line to help with goods trains. She works there to this day, near her new Great Western friends Duck, Oliver and many others.

Enid is a kind, worrisome, and reserved engine. She used to be so confident and full of life until a horrific incident during WWI. She is now very worrisome and self conscious engine. She can't help but worry about anything and everything, even if it doesn't seem likely to happen. She can even drive herself to have panic attacks, and it takes a while to calm her down. She is a nice sort though, and once you get to know her, you'll find her very endearing and sweet.
