It's venom and he HAS 5 F@$KING heads HOLY F@$king shi-....wait if Eddie could do all this and also infect the city whit the symbiote WHY DOSE HE always fail at killing Spider-Man?!!Probably cause both are to lazy to do it then again, carnage its superior then venom and toxin it's consider more powerful then both of them but hes a good guy. So in retro spect toxin could be the one to kill spidey if he were a villain.
But annyways I just remember I played "Spider-Man web of shadows" a very good game for its time where you're the web head and trying to stop venom no not Eddie the symbiote it self from infecting the city whit it's symbiotes spawns. And you get a lil bit of it too and you can choose to whether be evil or a good guy.

Not just that in the end of the game you kill venom and become the leader of the entire symbiotes ruling along side black cat!

I still find that kind of odd, since Carnage is smaller than him by a lot. I know size doesn't really apply for comic book characters, but the way I always saw it, Venom was the muscle, while Carnage was the fast and reckless one.

for Venom's very personality was shaped by Peter Parker and Eddie Brock

let's start with Eddie Brock, the First Venom host and the one who has made Venom into what he is today.
Eddie Brock, is actually a nice guy. however, he always seems to get the beating stick in spider-man's world....
where to start?
well let's use the Venom I know and Love the Best: The 1994 Animated Spider-man Series Venom/Eddie brock for it is the most comic book accurate TV adaptation of Spider-man that has yet to be topped.Β
Eddie Brock had a rough life, but he tries to be a good guy and a guy who's great at his job. his moral compass is a bit muddled, due to his childhood...more on that later.
Many of Eddie Brock's investigations would have brought justice to a surprising amount of Spider-man's rivals, including Kingpin and even the Lizard. but Spider-man has stopped Eddie brock at every turn. for the Kingpin, it was to prevent Eddie Brock revealing Kingpin's illegal operations that would have resulted in some serious gang wars. Spider-man stopped him because he thought Eddie Brock was in over his head even though Eddie Brock had a pretty good cautious sense.
the only Spider-man Intervention that was justified was for the Lizard. The Lizard needed help, needed recovery, since doctor connors wasn't in control of himself (the Comic Book Lizard and the 1994 Lizard are both more feral than all the other interpretations), Eddie Brock put that into Jeopardy.
Eddie Brock life was good BEFORE Spider-man began his interventions. Because he wasn't getting any good stories because of Spider-Man, he was thrown out of his apartment, his Girlfriend (whom he was going to PROPOSE to) left him, his parents disowned him....
Eddie brock had nothing to live for...
he went to a church in order to take his own life.
but hope and purpose came from none other than the Venom Symbiote itself, whom was torn from what it perceived to be its father (as the Venom symbiote was originally a hatchling when it arrived to earth, Β Symbiote hatchlings grow up very quickly but cease aging at the adult age).Β
both have been ruined emotionally and psychologically by Spider-man, they united, into one. united through their sheer cold hatred for the VERY person who ruined their lives, Venom was born from that Hatred and for the decades to come, all will come to fear Venom. for the Venom Symbiote, has all of parker's memories...and thus knows his identity
