1 Swithers: “Mmhhh!”
1 Luthor: “What is the meaning of this?”
1 Joker: “Ah, Lexie. We need to talk.”
2 Luthor: “Joker. What are you doing here?”
2 Joker: “Don’t bother hitting your panic button. Obviously, I’ve disabled it. And have an easy exit strategy, anyway. But I’m telling the truth; I’m only here to talk.”
3 Luthor: “Then say what you want and let my man go.”
3 Joker: “Very well. No doubt you’ve seen the news. Batman stopped a thug who had access to a directed energy weapon with a kryptonite battery. Shocking stuff, really. And everyone wonders, where did he get such a thing?”
4 Joker: “Well, I have no doubt you can sweep one incident like that under the rug. Although, I’ve left links from it to you so clear a one-eyed five year old could follow them. But even if you do, I’ve done plenty more.”
5 Joker: “Some of your anti-Superman weapons, I’ve put in the hands of drug cartels. There have already been fatalities; they just haven’t been as flashy as one nut with a ray gun. Try to defy me, and I’ll ensure that is brought to light – and you’ll be seen as using your humans-first claptrap about Superman as a mere front for all manner of dirty dealings and crime. Crime you will never get out of jail from. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg of the ways I’ve booby-trapped this company.”
6 Luthor: “How dare you…”
6 Joker: “So the point is this. You work for me, now, son. This isn’t an equal partnership and never will be. Best that you don’t forget it.”
