1 Superman: “What would you like to talk about, Batman?”
1 Batman: “I won’t beat around the bush. There’s a cult forming around you.”
2 Superman: “Yeah, it happens now and then.”
2 Batman: “You don’t seem surprised.”
3 Superman: “It’s something that happens to Wonder Woman more than me, but a lot of us have ‘groupies’ that take things a little too far. The best thing to do is not engage them. Eventually I’ll do or say something they don’t like, that doesn’t fit with their preconceptions, and the group falls apart. Engaging them directly legitimizes and publicizes them in a way that almost always makes things worse.”
4 Batman: “So you recommend a hands-off approach.”
4 Power Girl: “Not that this isn’t fascinating, but was there a reason why you wanted me here for this?”
5 Batman: “Seems you’re at least a saint in it, if not a full demi-goddess. Being a daughter of Krypton, and all.”
5 Power Girl: “Hm. I think, as far as kitschy public veneration goes, I’ll take that restaurant that dresses up the busty waitresses like me.”
6 Batman: “I hate that tasteless hellhole with an abiding passion.”
6 Superman: “Oh, I don’t know about that. They do have good beef bourguignon.”
