Above The sky kingdom, a Rainwing, dthezntil550i.cloudfront.net/r… named Maple was flying with her daughter. Her daughter, Pineapple was a Rainwing/Nightwing hybrid. The icewings had found them and were going to kill them both, since they hated nightwings. Maple clutched her daughter to her chest. She glanced at a cave near the skywing palace. Her scales turned yellow at the sight. What she didn't know was that six Icewings were watching her every move. "Don't worry honey," Maple said to her daughter. "We will be sa-" At that moment an icewings talons gripped her throat. She roared in pain. The blood stained her daughters back. Another Icewing slashed Maples left eye. Pineapple slipped out of her grasp. "Pineapple!" Maple cried out. Maple slashed the icewings throat and flew as fast as she could to her daughter.
"Mommy!" Pineapple cried. An Icewing grabbed Maple, while another grabbed Pineapple.
"Mommy! Help me!" Pineapple kept for Maple. Maple spit venom on the
Icewings surrounding her. Pale green scattered across her and Pineapples
Scales, as the Icewing holding Pineapple dropped her.

Maple spit venom on the rest of the icewings and grabbed her daughter.
Blood stained the star patterns on Pineapples wings.
She flew to the cave as fast as she could. She grabbed some fire wood
and blocked the cave entrance with a boulder.

She got the fire started and sat some leaves down as beds. Pineapple
went under her mother's wing. "Mama?" She said "Who is my real daddy?
I hear you talking about that you were with one of the shiny dragons, yet I'm
half Nightwing." Maple pulled her daughter closer.

"You have- or had- an older half sister who's a Rainwing/Icewing. Her
Father took her away after we had an argument. A while later I met a nightwing.
He went missing before you hatched. So your real father is a nightwing." Maple
Said.

"Now go to your bed. Tomorrow we have to keep flying,"
Pineapple nodded and sat down in her bed, as she closed her eyes.

Pineapple woke up in the middle of the night. She had heard a noise
from outside. "I swear I saw the wings of a nightwing!" "It's probably in
here. If you are wrong, you will be executed! It will be thrilling for my arena."
She heard voices from outside. "Mommy." She whispered. Maples eyes opened slowly.
"What is it?" She said. "Mommy we need to run. Scary dragons are outside."

Maple picked Pineapple up. She moved a few rocks to reveal a secret
entrance.

As she crawled through the hole, the voices became more distant.
When they flew out of the hole, they saw a mountain. They
hid in a tree. "Go to sleep now." Maple said as she tucked
Pineapple under her wing.
