Just wonderful I mean it. This Basilosaurus looks like you took a photo.
Basilosaurus was a part of my really young childhood. However it looks to skinny like the starving Basilosaurus in walking with beasts. It reminded of the Eocene Extinction event. The Basilosaurus coloration is good. But the Head is better. The head is really mammalian. The neck is strong. The flippers are nice and shiny. The body not much to say (that was a Joke on the BMI). But the Body is still very realistically shiny.The legs are cool. The tail is long and thin. Very flexible. I would say this is pretty accurate. I would buy this.

I do think that the overall artwork is gorgeous, but it does not function as well as an actual restoration of the creature. No whale would be that skinny- it looks more like a limbless lizard than a toothed whale, which would have immense amounts of blubber. In addition, the tail is far too small to offer any propulsion. Generally, the art looks incredibly reptilian in nature (an unfortunate result of the Basilosaurus being seen as more reptilian than it is seen as mammalian), and while that would not be a negative feature if it was an original creature, this does not feel like Basilosaurus.
While the art is beautiful, and I commend you for that, I would suggest focusing more on the anatomy of whales, especially when trying to convert Basilosaurus, which has been done a disservice by its unrealistic, reptilian depictions.
(Sorry if this seems unfair, I really love Basilosaurus and I just wish more people depicted it as an actual whale)

Definitely to slim. All Odontoceti skeletons have this shape with broad rib cage and thin rear end of the body, but when alive their belly is equaly wide as their rib cage.
