Here's a close-up of dorudon atrox who is part of my illustration that shows the evolution of toothed whales. Now we're seeing a big shift towards the modern-day whale look that we know today. They are fully aquatic and excellent predators. Notice how they still have back feet, but they are now tiny and useless for walking. Dorudon atrox done in marker, colored pencil, and white pen.
