Here's my finished velociraptor! It was fun figuring out where to place the feathers and patterns. The velociraptor was done in markers, background in Photoshop.EDIT: I fixed the primary feathers so they started at the second finger. Thanks everyone for their feedback!

Ever since I was a kid, I've always been told that Dinosaurs had more in common with birds than reptiles. At first, I found that hard to believe because I thought that with feathers added, they would look less fearsome. However, after seeing multiple pieces through the years, feathered Dinosaurs look more beautiful than ever. One such example is this piece. Velociraptor was always a favorite Dinosaur ever since Jurassic Park and seeing it with feathers really makes this animal stand out. It almost looks as if it is ready to take to the skies and target an unsuspecting animal. But still, this is one feathered animal I would not want to cross.

Should they appear to be covering most of the hand then or just starting at the second finger? I want to make the adjustments on this drawing.

Since you want a critique, I think the arms look a bit odd. The hands seem almost pronated and they lack primary feathers on the (2nd?) finger. Otherwise it's pretty nice.
