Yup, as you can tell, I recently became addicted to "Clone High" thanks to showing it to me on his iPod on the (seemingly) long shuttle bus ride over to our hotel in Anaheim.
The show's funny as hell and it parodies the stereotypical high school teen drama brilliantly. While I loved a bunch of characters, I gotta say that I have boat loads of love for Joan of Arc. Hell, even my sister, her boyfriend and all say "Jenna, Joan of Arc is so you!"
(I guess that's a compliment, )Even though Joan sort of looks like your typical angsty shojo manga heroine, I tried my best to blend a little bit of the show's style (which is waaaay different from mine, a huge understatement
) with mine, particularly in the nose. I know on the show they say her hair is red but I always thought it bended a little towards magenta, myself. As for the background, I wanted to replicate the "thinking docks" as well as I could while having some fun with it, especially the carvings ("G-spot rocks the g-spot!"). God, I love how the sky turned out. Straight lines are a natural enemy to dramatic monarchs...Watch out for those nails on the thinking docks!
