Remember when I said in my journal that I was gonna draw a little something to commemorate my one year here? Well, the first drawing I posted was a "Daria" fan art so it's only appropriate to do another one for this milestone.

And man, did I go with the fluff or what?

Anyways, the idea and drafts of this picture have been in the works for many months and I felt ready to take on three challenges I often struggle with in my drawing: side profiles, kisses and ears.

I've been practicing these aspects not only for this particular piece but for my future works in general. I also decided to be real risky (ooooh) and add a backdrop. I absolutely love how this turned out on the scanner but I'm definitely planning on getting some good markers soon (if anyone can reccomend me some good quality markers to look for, I'll be a very happy monarch).

Now, revel in the fluffy, cute kiss in the rain.
