Great photo! However, when I think of the stereotypical "mouse hole" i think of a hole or arch....it might be kind of cool if you could photoshop that blacked-out shape into this picture!

Fantastic focus! Personally I like the crop how it is. There is a good contrast with the blurry foreground. And I know how hard it is to not catch a reflection in eyes!
