So here's the Chibiusa I've been working on to add to my Sailor Moon series! I think I’m done with it for now even though her face bothers me... but my brain hurts from staring at this so long so I knew I needed to just stop and move onto a new piece ~(>.<)~
In other news, job searching sucks. Only things available are retail/customer service positions but a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. I've had 2 interviews so far and have not heard back so signs aren't looking good... I'm out of practice talking with people though. So if nothing else these interviews have been good practice. I hope I can find something soon. We need the money...
This gets you a bit up to date why I've been sparse, anyway. Man I really want to upload more videos to my Youtube channel but I just can't come up with a decent enough idea for video content. Speed paints just seem repetitive and boring and so impersonal. Maybe I'm overthinking it though.
But yeah. I gotta go make dinner before my dumb thing gets home from a long day at work. I hope someone can enjoy this for what it is! And if not, then oh well and I'm sorry. Have a good night/day/whatever you're getting up to!

lol you're so sweet~ AND OMG she totally does! No one else has pointed it out-but looks like I totally forgot/missed that. I think what happened was I got so engrossed in it while working and was focusing more on Chibiusa. Her nose is just sooo tiny I must have not zoned in on it for whatever reason... >.>
Maybe I'll go back and add it real quick when I have the time. Thanks for pointing that out! lol <3

But honestly, I think it's all about listening to your own pace. I know that's a cliche in the way that you can feel like it's unavoidable to compare yourself to other's works. But every artist is going to want to be at a higher level no matter where their 'skill' is.
I very much appreciate the nice words, though. Thank you~ And hey-if you ever have ideas about video content, I'd love to hear it! I'm having a hard time figuring out my own 'angle' with a channel.

My own rhythm is basically to keep my mind spewing out theories as drawings, and let my thoughts be fast enough to express themselves into page, before I lose interest.
My style is built to be fast, effortless, and more aimed at efficiency than skill level.
So, an higher level for my style, is to do everything faster, have more thoughts expressed through it, and make it easier to draw as time moves...
When I watched your video, the first thing that popped to my mind is that it'll be best if instead of music, you make a commentary upon something, or... do what you do here- share a piece of yourself along with the art you make... It'll be interesting to both watch you paint, but, it'll keep the mind occupied, as well as the heart, to listen to you give your opinion upon things.
You should try it, I wonder how it'll come to past

I think that's really awesome and special that you know exactly what it is you need to produce the art that's perfect for you. (Whoa that sentence was long.)
That's why I love art so much. Your definition, my definition and that person way over there's definition of improvement can be so vastly different. We all need different things.
And OMG I hadn't even read this message yet, but I've been wondering about doing voiceover instead. And I actually recorded some sketching today that I did and test ran a few crappy mic setups to try and work my way around talking for the next video. But ffff, it's rough. I think I'll be super awkward and probably not have much interesting to say- BUT! Why not at least take a crack at it. lol

We are all eventually inspiring each other with how creative the very base of why we draw, and the method of our craft's evolution is.
Voiceovers will be cool :3 I know it works for gamers that do it... Why not for artists too?
I watched it, you were indeed kinda awkward, but cute :3
It's your first time ever, but, I feel that you'll start being more loose afterwards, and have more flow... For all the times of "I dunno", you can always just turn it into a joke... Rather than saying "No clue", just go with "Thingy-majig-on-shoulder"... It's suppose to be "shoulder pads" if I'm not mistaken... But, you can always say "Shoulder-armor!" Or, make up your own on-spot terminology for things... Unless you suddenly feel that "No idea" comes flowing fast, and you just let it out as if "No clue, move along".
I saw it through till the end, which is much better than with usual art-videos, in which I keep losing interest fast, for I'm not interested in hearing the music, and it never goes together with the paint well...
Now, it was far more fluid, I felt like there is an interaction, and like it's more engaging... Especially with the random lines that appeared on the screen xD And you kinda can interact a bit with those watching, since, you break the barrier of "Just watch", and while you add your artistic concepts by words, you can insert in-between pieces of personal commentary onto something, or, let out something you kinda just feel like letting out... Or even, just reading something that might relate to this... Like, you spoke upon the D&D a bit... You can like share concepts and ideas as well, give a wider background onto what you draw, and expend everything in general, through your own words!
So, I feel potential, and I'll keep watching and commenting on YouTube on your videos

Aw no- I'll cross my fingers for you for next time. <3 You can hold off on my own congratulations though, lol... I got such bad anxiety pings before my shifts that one day I just basically fled the establishment before I had to clock in and abandoned my job. I'm a mess. But I have hope we'll find something better suited to us-it's gotta just be DESTINY for now. *at least what I try to tell myself to keep from falling in a mental ditch* lol otl
