Thanks for the compliment. I appreciate it. I think that both meanings can apply. Each of my drawings and paintings come from the fear, confusion and misery I feel simply from existing in this world. I realise that's not a unique perspective and in some ways I'm lucky I can express this visually. My other strongly felt perspective is that my art is a curse that has prevented and sabotaged a great many opportunities that could have provided me with a comfortable life.
However therein lies the paradox as I can't create without suffering.
I've wrestled with this for a long time now and, after recent personal revelations, am 'finally learning'.
