Description
Ying strolled into her and Yuki’s room. She wore a loose grey shirt and her soccer shorts which for once were clean. She approached the desk located on the side of their room, on it was a slim borderless monitor, and a small camera propped up on a small stand which faced the chair. Ying eased herself into the computer chair covered in soft blue fabric. She enjoyed the feeling of the seat molding to the shape of her plump butt. But now was not the time to enjoy furniture design!
Ying swiveled in her chair absentmindedly as she tapped the desk in front of her. Almost instantly, an outline of a keyboard appeared on the desk in front of the monitor and the screen flashed on. She was now only a click away from starting the camera.
“My first online conversation…” She said to herself after taking a deep breath. Ying would never admit to being nervous. But she knew that at this moment, she was excited to see how the upcoming conversation would go. “I wonder who I’m talking to… wait… how many people are coming!?”
“Camera on.” A female voice from the computer announced.
“Wait! I didn’t say…!”
As the camera flashed on, Ying instantly relaxed as if she flipped a switch and smiled at the camera.
“Um… hello? Everyone.” She started. “Ying here. I’m um… crap what did Yuki tell me to say…” She mumbled. “Uhh, I’m answering your questions today so… ask… away?” Ying mentally slapped herself and her delivery. “That sounded cheesy as hell…”
