Description
A rather small Dsungaripteroid not getting a quarter of the attention its genus mate G. cristatus gets. BUT HE LOOKS TWICE AS COOL!Germanodactylus means "German finger" and rhamphastinus refers to the family of birds the toucan belongs to. It was found in the famous Solnhofen Limestone and lived in the Kimmerdigian age (152–157 mya) In an landscape simmilar to the caribbean today. It was bigger than its genus mate and probbably concurrented with it. Further differences between it and G. cristatus were different teeth placements: rhamphastinus' teeth extended to the jaw tips, making it easier to catch moving prey, while cristatus' teeth were better suited to pull off or pick up shellfish and crustaceans from cliffs or crevices.

Krutopřísné - it's in slang, combination of words "cruel" and "strict", but it means "just epic" or something similar. :3
