It is sign up time for 's forth AFL! With this addition comes a temptation from me to join up. I don't know how far I'll get, I'll be shocked if I make it past the first stages, but hell... it's all for fun right? So I thought why not enter. Whilst I was tempted to bring in Blaze or Eclipse for this, I thought otherwise, wishing to bring in someone else in to get a bit of spotlight for what will surely be a brutal competition!

But this is where I need help, as I'm a little stuck on who I should enter into this year's AFL. I've managed to bring it down to three nominations. The recently turned heroine, Fira, the villainous Stone and the enigma that is Dr. Kane's Prototype. I am in a good mind to use one of these three a little more over the other two, but I wanted to get the opinion of you guys to see who you'd like to witness in AFL. I've tried to do some pro's and cons for each of them, so let's have a very brief rundown of the potentials...

-Fira- (left)

Powers:- Ability to conjure and control fire at will, also more physically advanced then a typical human, capable of flight along with immunity to various elements.

Pros:
- The storyline I intend to create for Fira makes her easily capable of fitting into the AFL contest, leaving plenty of room to develop the character as the competition progresses.
- Her powers I think will make her an interesting entry, as well as a potentially worthy opponent for others.

Cons:
- Her use of fire might make it difficult to end a fight without thinking of something unique every time. There is no killing in this addition of AFL, which will mean my fire user will have to hold back with her powers somewhat. Might not be a true con, since it will be good to think of unique ways to try and end a fight if Fira ends up on top, but worth noting.
- - Fira is a very new character, her personality is still being developed for some part, so it is hard to know if she will have any support.

Stone (Middle)

Powers:- Yurla of Stone is a brute through and through. Superhuman strength and fortitude with the ability to increase her size and mass, capable of becoming double her original size and mass.

Pros:
- Yurla is easy to enter, capable of coming up with any excuse to enter the AFL given she is very sadistic and enjoys a good fight. Whilst her story for entering may be weak, there is a chance to further develop the character and finally explore her origins.
- - Though her power set is basic, there is still lots of interesting things that can be done with the character during fight scenes. Her persona will also make her ideal in a fight as she is good with trash talking, hopefully capable of making up for some interesting fights.
Cons:
- Going into Stone’s background whilst she takes part may potentially give big spoilers to a current storyline I’m making with Branded-Curse. So going into her background will show spoilers to something in Broken Alliance.
- - Though Yurla would be an interesting choice, she is probably my last choice on a personal level between Fira and Prototype. However I am still considering using her despite this, making her still a strong contender for the sign up.

Dr Kane’s Prototype

Powers:- Not fully known. Seems to possess an ability to resurrect on Dr. Kane’s command, also possessing high resistance to physical damage. It is strong, mobile and fast despite its large size. Prototype has additional appendages in the form of four tentacles.

Pros:
- An interesting villain that I really wouldn’t mind pitting against others. For one, it also leaves room for potential peril for enemies on occasion, which would no doubt appeal to the large number of my watches.
- - Prototype would be the most unique choice out of the three potentials, giving a chance to shine some light on the character.
Cons:
- Hard to fit him in storyline wise, as Dr. Kane would not have a real reason to field his Prototype except for perhaps wanting to test his capabilities. Even then it’s hard to imagine him fielding his Prototype when it’s in such an early stage of development story wise.
- - Fielding Prototype could reveal spoilers I don’t yet wish to reveal, given his story is quite key to a current project I am doing with Kostmeyer in Catacombs of Kane. I’d have to be very careful using him, and unfortunately hold back significantly with his character. I think he could still be entered though if I am careful, though already there is much I haven’t said about Prototype given it will reveal much.

So here is the very basic basic basic run down of the characters I am thinking of entering. Of course only one can be used, and when they are chosen I will give a much more in-depth bio for the entrant. I will be honest when I say Fira so far is probably the choice I have in mind at the moment, but the other two are still strong contenders and I wouldn’t mind entering either of the three. I can only spend a few days thinking as I’ll have to enter one of them before the end of the month.

I’d really like to hear the opinion of you guys, who would you like to see in AFL 4 should I enter? I hope you don’t mind taking the time to respond to this. It would also be a great help if you could tell me why you would like one of these entrants to join should you select one you prefer. I will listen to the say of all of you and really take your words into consideration when it comes to my choice.
