Sandman.... Neil Gaiman, Sandman? I actually have a small graphic novel on a version of her! I've never read the actual comic, but she's a really neat character, and I love your rendition of her

I didn't think twice, the second I saw this, I cicked on "Fav". I'm not familiar with the Sandman comic book, I know little about Death character, but this art is really great.

Niiiiiice. Love the white sand background that starts to surround the character.

It's uncommon to see Sandman art nowadays, I think (at least until they make that TV series) but it's lovely to see one of my favourite artists depict one of my childhood comic heros. I think my favourite part is the echo of Morpheus behind her, though; who doesn't dream of death, on occasion?

If she is supposed to be Death, then it's funny that she's wearing an Ankh. XD

If you read the comic you understand why Gaiman chose to give her that symbol She's really wonderful in making you not fear death anymore.Β

It started in the 80s and lasted some 10 full books (at least). Compelling, philosophic, poetic, dark; a combination of new takes on mythology with what was then modern day life. The art didn't age well, in my opinion, but the stories remain good and I think the best way I could describe it is 'dark stories about modern magic'.Β

She's also very cute, personality wise. Although perhaps not as cute as Pratchette's Death Β
