I thought it was Death, Famine, War and Pestilence, not conquest.

pestilence was a later replacement for conquest so i decided to go for the original 4

Okay, so after quite a bit of research I learned that, though the horseman more commonly know as Pestilence who rode (what I was fucking lead to believe) a green horse is actually known as Conquest who rides a pale horse. So, that's cool.

yeah pestilence replaced conquest due to the Bubonic Plague i believe. Though to be fair, imperialism was more rampant after the age of the Plague, so it could be the other way around.

Yea theyre intended to be more of dragon heads. something like the dragon symbolizes power and all that

That really is awesome! At the sides I see the dragon head but not on his chest.. looks a bit more like snowwolfs or something.. Anyway.. A great inspiration for my own drawings! Love your work xox!

I think the four horsemen are Death, War, Famine and Pestilence (plague/sickness). Was there a reason you switched Conquest for Pestilence?

yea its because conquest was the original before pestilence so i thought id stick to the source material

This si probably my favorite piece youve done. Again with the stance, and then just the rest of it brings joy to my eyeballs. His head and coloration remind me of the Collectors from Mass Effect. Great job

The next set of horsemen (and woman) are out and my imagination is already churning.
Conquest looks epic, though I prefer the helmet of old one versus new one. Kind of makes him look like he has a block for a head.
I also liked the tundra theme he had (bothΒ background and armor), but the old one has nothing on the picture of the new conquest riding glory, that one just screams epic and "run as much as you like, I'm still going to conquer you"
Overall, These new versions of the horsemen look incredible, so keep up the good work. I am looking forward to what will arrive next.
p.s. - (Death, while looking fine as a woman, would lookΒ better as a skeleton or such, fitting in with the fact that it is Death being displayed(Personal Opinion))

Maybe if you added a little more color to them. I'm not talking neon bright tron patterns or anything, maybe some brighter colors to break up all the grays in their armor.

love the stuff in the background and love the way the bow is made...tho not sure how i feel about the armor i always pictured conquest being the kinda person people would kneel to not out of fear but out of respect for his raw power and grace....i might just be weird thoΒ

Ahh, I see.
Yes, they looked like something with a muzzle, but I was thinking canine at first. Because there's no 'correct' way of drawing a dragon, it's not always easy to tell your staring at a picture of one... It can be pretty obvious too, sometimes.

Aye, now I'd like to challenge you (I have characters who are odd creatures... Or unusual creatures to be drawn. I certainly do.) but I'm sure you aren't open for any sort of commissions at the moment (If you do them at all.) nor do I have points to pay with.
If I did, though, I would definatley see what you could do with, perhaps, a three-tailed platypus... Or abyssal sea-dragon (Would look like a huge abyssal eel with terribly frighting fangs.), or better yet, a pangolin. Or perhaps that komodo dragon of mine, Vunx... Β Well, now I'm just rambling my characters. (Most are characters in the way that, I like to write stories. One of my more completed stories is Sunken, a narrative novel from the view of a great white. And I say 'novel' because it has chapters, not because it's published (Yet.))
Another, even more completed story of mine, which is still a draft, has 20 and more chapters. But that one's just about a human. How boring. XD

Are their heads going to all be different? I really like the idea of a hammer-looking shape for Conquest... it gives him(?) a powerful, stubborn appearance.
