Description
So yea, the second painting for MGAF event in KL. If you're around, come say hi and maybe......yknow........buy the prints XDAnyway, these are pretty fun to do. The purpose is to sorta easy my way into realism/mechas. Im still trying to wrap my head around it but i think its going okay so far

I always love these pieces where they take the gundam series and depict an actual "war" not a story driven anime plotline. Most people go "GIANT ROBOT! MAKE EM FIGHT!" but I actually like to think about like what if my room was on the second floor of that left building and I was looking ot at the gundam after half my city just became a warzone. Lots of feels from this one bravo!

So much Attention to detail with the decals and color accuracy, you can see the love of wanting to make it look just like the Gunpla it is modeled after. Also the inclusion of soldiers is awesome, I think that they are slightly overlooked in the Gundam universe.Β

thanks man! yea these are fun to do considering the workflow is more or less the same to the plastic model.... with the exception of filling your lungs with paint XD
I agree! the soldiers are the unsung heroes but you have to admit, in a world of giant robots fighting in space foot soldiers feel somewhat irrelevant

I could see that it for sure, it has the look and feel like the kit you referenced does, although I think the liberties you took on the badgeing and decals make it pop a bit more. Also I mean come on who doesn't love a lung filled with paint, masks are for chumps right?
Haha true statement, they certainly not doing much in space space. Those poor folks are probably up there are not doing much, but cleaning up the aftermath of mobile suits making a mess!
