i know its not exactly a pally like i mentioned before but the urge to draw clint was too much XDi think i'll get a pally cowboy done for the next painting.... if not then maybe a barber or something... idk. at this point im just winging it

Very nice. I've long toyed with the idea of a western with fantasy elements (swords instead of guns, and so on) but I gather Joe Abercrombie beat me to it, from what I've heard, recently.
Fun fact: the "Dollars Trilogy" is not actually a trilogy. The movies share actors, but they play different characters in every film.

Fun Fact: American Western Culture + Yojimbo = Fistful of Dollars. Both Fistful of Dollars is pretty much an American rip-off of Yojimbo :3

True, Screen WriterΒ Adriano Bolzoni did say he copied elements of the film Yojimbo with the ok from Director Sergio Leone. Β Only drawback with your theory is "A Fistful of Dollars" was produced by the Italian company "Jolly Film" and the German company "Constantin Film Produktion". Β The only US film company involved was United Artists who distributed it here in the States but had nothing to do with the making of it. Β

Not technically a rip-off, since Sergio Leone made it pretty clear he was remaking Yojimbo as a western. A "rip-off" would imply an inferior product passed off as an original, or trying to take advantage of an original's brand.
Kurosawa's been converted into a western a couple of times (The Magnificent Seven is another one), as well as science fiction (Battle Beyond the Stars) and depression-era gangsters (Last Man Standing).
Those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head...

I wouldn't say a "rip-off", but they're almost identical. The only difference is that Sergio Leone made a trilogy while I have yet to hear of a sequel to Yojimbo. I must say, though, in my opinion, Fistful of Dollars is probably the better of the two. Not sure if it's due to the acting or budget of the films or some other factor, but I just admire Fistful of Dollars just a tad-bit more.
