a warm up painting i did this afternoon with a client that went into refinement. quite happy how it turned out... mainly because i havent been touching painting in a while to focus on some 3d stuff
i've been on a barbarian/viking kick lately so i think more of these are probably gonna get churned out when i get the time to paint
also, im realizing that i have a belt problem..... im modelling my previous barbarian concept and that thing is super troublesome because of the damn belts! XD so i thought, why try to fight it when i can embrace it.... AND ADD MORE BELTS!! XD

look up disgaea. its funny as hell. basically their monsters with sinful human souls inside them that are forced to serve demons in the netherworld in order to work off their sins and be reincarnated. but they're retarded and explode if you throw them or hit them with some decent impact

I have to agree with you in the facr that all your art needs is more belts. Especially the King of Sweden piece. Maybe some hanging off random parts of his body? In my opinion, you should do a mass redrawing and feature at least one belt on each piece.
It would make your gallery even more.... wonderful.

This painting is really awesome and a friend and I wondered about if that is a penguin. After we read the comments we just asked ourselves "Why?" Why is there a penguin in a group of barbarians/vikings? Is he fighting or what? I'm sorry you surely got that asked a million times but why is there a penguin?
