Erm...yeah, I couldn't resist.
Harry, Ron, and Hermione are from Harry Potter by JK Rowling
Glinda the Good Witch and the Wicked Witch of the West are from Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum (character designs based of the MGM movie)
Edit: Just wanted to note that when I did this picture I'd heard of Wicked, but I knew very little about it. So the whole Wizard of Oz thing is connected more to the movie then anything else. I still haven't finished reading the book (I started it, but lost my copy) but I have seen the musical (not live, though I'd love too). Based on the musical I would've made Glinda a Hufflepuff. ^_^

When I made it I hadn't read or seen Wicked yet. By Wicked's standards I'd lean more toward Ravenclaw for her too, but I could still see Slytherin if you go by the Slytherin motto, "Cunning and Ambition."

I did this long before I'd read any of Wicked or seen seen the play, this was based off the Warner Bro's Movie.
If I was going by the play I'd stick Elphaba in Ravenclaw and Glinda in Hufflepuff. Going by the book Wicked (which I haven't finished yet) They might very well both make Ravenclaw.

Apologies for spelling since I am not a serious fan, even though I did see all three movies.
There were 2 OZ moves the first one was with Judy garland
but the 2nd one was a bit more darker but I don't remember who was in it.

There based on the Judy Garland movie, I've heard of other versions, but I've never actually seen any. Glanda the Good Witch is in Ravenclaw. I debated between Ravenclaw and Gryffindor and finally let my sister decide for me. ^_-

With those new books and plays ect there's alot of extra info on both witches. But I havn't actually gotten around to reading them in detail or anything so I made my desision just based on the well known movie (The one starring Judy Garland).
