Poor Princess Eilonwy, she gets so little credit. I've yet to see her included by Disney in their princess collection. But why, why, could it be because she was more of a secondary character then a heroine, or that she dresses more like a well-to-do peasant then a princess, or maybe it's the fact that her movie bombed so badly that Disney now seems to prefer to pretend the whole thing never even happened... I'm guessing it's the third reason.

I'm not a big Black Cauldron fan myself, but I couldn't resist drawing a picture of Eilonwy and giving her a more royal outfit.

Princess Eilonwy is from The Black Cauldron. A book by Llyod Alexander, which was then adapted into an animated feature by Disney (and not very well.) ^_-
