Here is a picture of Megaman from the battle network series. The goal was to practice anatomy and a new coloring technique. I wanted to see if I could make a pose look more dynamic solely based on the colors.If you want to a drawing from me check the info below!

It doesn't, which is sad because it has some of my favorite character designs, music, and gameplay from anything I've played. This and Starforce bundled with it make my top 3 game series.

It looks nice, but consistency is the key. some of your shading follows the charcoal affect you have, whilst some other parts (mostly yellow parts) do not. i would recommend redrawing it in solid colours, putting a custom diagonal filter on top, then add your touch-ups.Β

I'm not entirely sure what you mean. Are you talking about the fade effect I have at the bottom of the image, because everything else was basically colored the same.

I guess a better way of saying it is that most of your edging and lines have a soft feel to it because of the charcoal affect, but there are places where the line or shape is sharp and ends abruptly. like for instance the hand to the left with the dark blue on top of the light blue, or at the top of the helmet, that blue piece right before the weird line protrusion. its hard to correctly put what i mean into words lol

No, I get what you're saying now! I used the same brush for the entire piece but when I erased it made some of the lines sharper
