It really looks good! The background is simple but really kawaii!

I really like the art as well as the coloring. The shading is really great too; it really gives a realistic texture to his clothing, boots, and gloves. The sword and his shield also have very nice shading, which really makes them appear shiny like they are metal. ^_^
The background does remind me of Mario Sunshine, because of the bright colors used. I really like how you created the background in such a way that it really makes Link stand out. ^_^
I like the picture very much, Link is one of my fav. characters! ^_^
