When I did the... *counts on fingers* 50k kiriban, ~God-of-Static missed it by one and I just decided to let it slide and give him a free sketch... which I ended up deciding I wanted to colour since his request was that I simply draw a pirate girl. I just love when I get that much artistic freedom.
Anyways, the costume is based heavily on Pokemon's Team Aqua costume and the planet in the background is from a recurring dream that I have where there's something in space that's far enough to not be affected by our gravitational field, but big enough to see. The objects that appear in my dreams aren't usually as visible as this planet though since the daylight hides the objects behind the atmosphere.

It's almost creepy, but the moment I saw this, I thought of Lucy from Fairy Tail.

Did you ever play Skies of Arcadia (on dreamcast) or the remake, Skies of Arcadia: Legends (on Gamecube)?

Nope. I tend to shy away from the 3D RPGs with most of them being disappointing to me compared to Golden Sun. Tales of Symphonia came the closest.
And yeah, I made it look like she's pantsless deliberately.

eh. Don't knock it before you try it. The thing I enjoyed about it the most was that (it's turnbased) after you give combat orders for that round, the characters run around the battlefield attacking and dodging in a way that has no gameplay significance, but makes it feel less "RPG Combat-esque" and I dunno... Generic that other turn based battlers have.
But I did like Golden Sun.

The ship gave me a bit of trouble because I was too lazy to look up a reference on the net and just used the tiny pic in the background on my Pirates 2 DVD cover.
