What I hear whenever something popular comes around: "OMG this fandom is cancerous!!!11 they ruined [title here] FOREVER!11", "I liked [title here], but not anymore because of the fandom". And drives other people away from whatever their talking about; prime examples are mlp and fnaf. Ironically these people are just as obnoxious as the people their complaining about. If you like or don't like something that's fine, just don't put all the blame on the fandom because of a few nuts.
