If the idea is to be a comic about cliche's then I think I know what happens next...
Classic piss off a mysterious figure, turns out to be a very powerful character, get thrown into trouble about it to teach you a lesson.
Edit: so that's how they get supernatural powers! Wouldn't it be fun if that happened on our planet, less boring stuff...

Isn't that closely related to cliche's? If I can see a cliche coming that means it's predicable. If it's a good story that's unpredictable then cliche's wouldn't be a problem.

I suppose predictable cliches are good if done well or if you enjoy them. There are some I love and some I hate, so it differs I guess

I don't find cliches that big of a problem. If anything this comic proves that if you embrace them and make a good story then people will like it. It doesn't have to be 100% original just make your own twists and it'll be great. I'm loving the comic so farΒ Β

well, Cliches aren't really bad. but some of them can be either annoying or predictable.

Bad ones make you groan and say 'oh great, we're doing this...'
Good ones make you go 'Oooh! I wonder where this is gonna go!'
None are bad, but it's how a writer uses them!
