Description This is a sketch for the face of my current painting. (By current I mean haven't touched in a while) Motivation has struck me agiain so the future is bright (or dark in the case of my work). In regards to this "sketch" its actually the picture printed out using a printer with no black ink. I then rebuilt the image with a black marker, a pen, and a white pencil to get the shading, form and facial reconstruction surgery to match my painting. I love technology in combination with traditional mediums, it makes life easier.

That looks fantastic, have you ended up finishing the painting?

No..... It is a big canvas (about 150x180cm i think, either way its big) and it taunts me from the easel at the end of my bed. It's not even half finnished. And I keep distracting myself with other small drawings and paintings. Argh... It's driving me MAD. But luckily I am feeling quite motivated of late. I completed the 'Doris...' drawing, and I just finnished a small painted version of 'Eve wishes she couldn't fly', which I haven't photographed yet. So now I have no choice but to work on the monster at the foot of my bed. How about you? I havn't seen anything posted by yourself for a while.... not that there's a rush (hell, I've been doing that snail painting for about 4 months now and I haven't even finnished the hand yet) but I like to see others more prolific than myself. It motivates me to work more.

Cool. Unfortunately, I am about the worst example of what an artist should be when it comes to prolificacy. I've done 2 drawings in the last month or so because I'm stuck in a complete artistic rut that I can't seem to escape from, and prior to that I've always been the kind of person who gets stuck with what they're doing a lot. So... you'll have to learn to be motivated by my inactivity, under the guise that I am in fact working on something so secretive and brilliant that it will make your head explode to see it.
