Now you feel despair for the knight in his very final moments.
"How could it end like this? Years of loyal servitude... so many champions felled, so many awards earned, so many triumphs and honors... I bested the hollow curse, slew the many hollows for my lord, I am... was the most valiant and powerful knight in my kingdom... even outcasted and fallen, I still fought with great strength and resolve, never falling, never faulting... how could it end like this? Beaten and broken... to be at the mercy... of the weakest enemy in the whole FREAKING GAME BAR-NONE!!! HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN TO ME?!!!"
And then he died, and we found his armor set. A really cool armor set, though I really just don't like the back view of it, and how it looks like a very cheap material, rather than something like leather.
Jokes aside, this is glorious artwork and definitely a worthy piece of fanart to a great series. I love the light reflecting off the water and the knight, and the pose you chose for him. You really do feel his unrelenting despair at knowing he would die like this.

haha! I love it! I thought the same thing when I was painting this. The irony of dying in a place like that to lesser crabs lol. I guess he probably was killed by the bigger ones but I thought it would be funny to put the little guys in there Thank you for the comment It made my day!

Hey Peter, I was looking at your work and it look to me as you have a great base foundations for some awesome artwork. I usually start out with for example "Ship I the distance " as a foundation painting or sketch and gradually add more detail as I progress. Sometimes I even sketch over my paintings on a different layer if I am not sure how I want something to look or the painting is looking strange. Having a lot of reference images is good too that way you can better have an idea of what kinds of details, textures lighting you might want to add. Having patience is the hardest for me. I will draw or paint something and immediately hate it. So i will put it down and come back and work on it some more later with fresh eyes. I'm not going to lie I abandon a lot of artwork because I just don't have the drive to sink like 15 hours into something im not interested in lol. A big tip I can give you is to be active with other artists and feed off of there passion for creativity. For a while I went without doing any art just because I like being lazy and having no drive to work on anything. But here recently I started talking to a art friend and he re-sparked my ambition and got my creative juices flowing again. Your are heading in the right direction you just need push your art further and keep practicing here is something I did a while back that kinda gives an idea if my painting possess. "Azathoth Champion animation close up " I hope this was helpful

I always wondered where this set might came from. maybe it was a watch dog of Farron or just a petty soul who was lost in the Doom. it's still kinda strange he ended up in the poisend swamp forest close to Farron Keep.

That is why I like this set so much. There isn't very much lore on who the Fallen Knights are. I've read some people think they were some kind of outcast turned mercenary band. You fight one of these guys right before you enter the Cathedral of the Deep. They are guarding the Paladin's Ashes witch is griping a Undead Hunter Charm which as ties to the knights of the Way of White. So maybe the Fallen knights are out cast Knights from the Way of White? Who knows lol

It is very possible! After reading up on her lore a bit I found out that practices and miracles that originated from Thorolund were eventually passed on to Carim. And that people from Carim prefer to use a parrying dagger over a shield. The one Fallen knight you fight before you enter the Cathedral of the Deep has a dagger instead of a shield. That theory sounds very good!
