This story was kinda born in a msn discussion, around the simple idea of having Mighty (the armadillo) becoming a werewolf like the blue bur will be in the future "sonic unleashed".
Featuring a very random story with Armadilloes, Blaze-chan, MagnEggTo, Computer rooms, French maids, Fake Cameos and more!

So, let's see the Weredillo list here, Shadow thinks it's cool, Silver is sorta freaked out by the whole thing (since being Silver, he'll probably be a possible projectile choice used to slay the vicious beast!), and Sonic is too busy lookin' for fire hydrants...SONIC!

sonic games had lots of DBZ-borrowed ideas in the past (super forms, 7 things to collect, dying and being resurrected by them,etc..) but the werewolf-thing sounds too much like an Ozarû (giant ape) for me...
he's already an animal! making him a Werewolf is just plain stupid!

Sonic's gameplay.....
the werehog will be Really different (as they said)
but i do care about the plot, even if it's not that much developped (Sonic 1) or has a whole univers behind (sonic adventure1), it creates the "feel" of the game and will interest the gamer about what's going on in the game.
eggman trying to conquer the world, metal sonic's revenge, attack of an eggfleet, those kind of little things creates the atmosphere...
shadow created by an alien, iblis and mephiles plot through time to kill sonic, werewolves hedgehogs, those things seems kinda over the top to me...

Yeah, so I've heard, maybe a bit more platforming oriented instead of speed/platforming?
Well, while werewolf hedgehogs are strange, Eggman splitting the world into several continents and Sonic exploring the vast lands to get the Chaos Emeralds to put it all back together again does sounds like a great adventure to me. <33
To be honest with you, I always considered the series to be over the top, so those sort of things didn't phase me as much...but that's just me.
And I saw the video and that! That just impressed me to no end. I can't wait to see the United Federation level to be honest, maybe give me some warm fuzzy feelings about the Speed Highway from Sonic Adventure 1...running down the wall of the building at night, rushing down, crashing into the glass down into...the early morning commute. <33 Memories. That skydiving thing reminds me of that as well in a way...

The chaos emeralds chase across different parts of the world sounds great
in fact it sounds exactly like sonic advace 3... but how will the werewolf fit into this story, i guess we'll have t wait and see...
and the game does look good! best visual i've ever seen! in his time, Sonic 1 was the best looking game in his era (so was sonic2,3 and adventure 1, since then, sonic games haven't really been known to be perfect visually...)

I WAS THINKING THE EXACT SAME THING, the whole Sonic Advance 3 thing. Only Eggman didn't shape the worlds into his own Eggman Empires, this time they're just split.
Hmm, I thought that Sonic '06 had some nice visuals, even if they got a bit dull at times...even Sonic Heroes and StH had their moments. Not the best engine to do it on though...

but Sonic Adventure 1 really was one of the best looking games of 1998 (Tomb Raider was fun, but not that amazing to look at).
in 2006, im pretty sure Sonic next gen was NOT the most impressive game! (with games like Half life2 episode 1, tomb raider legend,etc around...). But i don't find him that bad (the gameplay's more broken than the visuals) to look at...
the animation of the characters was kinda robotic ..

Yes, it was a great looking game.
I'm not talking overall, in the entire realm of games, I'm talking about Sonic series only. I found the animation was fine, abeit awkward at times. It is leaps and bounds away from Sonic Adventure.

well, it's on next gen consoles, they couldn't just release a game with DreamCast graphics!!
but it's not only the visual that makes a game, control & fun factor are important (and the jungle level was almost unplayable with slowdowns and bugs!!)
Sonic heroes is one of my favorite games despite lots of fanboys not liking it, i had fun with the game and found the team gameplay interessant, even if the game wasn't one of the prettiest games i've seen! (the 1st levels are nicely done, but later they're aren't that impressive)
