Actually, this seems legit despite this piece of art looking like lizardman1990/aji's artstyle, besides, it's been over a year since his recent art pieces, so there could be some development during that time gap.

Arguably, an artist can't improve that dramatically in course of a year. As I said before "The style and skill isn't consistent at all, and there's too much of a spike in improvement".

Anyways, I was mistaken--as I talked to the artist and he actually proved his legitimacy by showing me the original sketch.
Additionally,Β I was only expecting to talkΒ onlyΒ to the artist, not actually expecting other people to come in to say otherwise.
Also, I tend to reply back to people because I have things to say myself. I suppose that could've been seen as trolling, but it's also common courtesy to reply when someone replies to you.

Look at his gallery carefully. The style and skill isn't consistent at all, and there's too much of a spike in improvement to the point that its not legitimate.
Unless of course this was a commission or request he had from somebody else, I would understand. But he didn't tell on who made it, which in this case... by default he's claiming it as his own work.
Additionally, stealing art from others is against dA's rules and this could lead to some serious consequences like a ban.
