It's not bad but i have seen that scene with XLR8 before. I mean the drawing is good but if i want to see the same pose that i saw from the show exactly, Then i just take a pic.
You need to come up with a pose that we haven't seen before on TV nor in other like the comics. If you the idea yet you're having difficult to draw it you just have to do the following:
Use pics of models or superheroes from different angles to give ya the idea for your pose, Use figures with tons of articulation or just take pics of yourself with many poses.

Actually you can if you just sketch them without giving them any details.
It's not about sending it anywhere to someone important but to show that you're doing some effort the drawing.
Like you say it's for fun but at the same time it's also fun to come up something the character hasn't done yet.

Indeed, Still looking for different methods on making my lines more depth but with some practice i may improve more on that.
