Description
The Brotherhood of Steel receives some unexpected help...Just a showcase of the mods I downloaded for Fallout 3. Mostly skins. I love mod-friendly games.

Damn it damn it damn it! If my computer was not so old then I would have gotten this game for the PC! I want to mod my game but I can't! So before I kill myself out of depression I just want to say good job on your mod. It would have been awesome to have those armor and weapons.(:

NOW, what would be really awesome is if they could mod a genestealer to be the skin for a Yao Guai. D8 quite terrifying I'd think. Or a Dreadnought for Liberty Prime... although it would be a very tall and skinny dreadnought... yeah, never mind that then. XD
Man, I wish I had it for the PC, but my PC couldn't cope with the awesome graphics of Fallout 3. D: Just for the mods too... and maybe the ability to not crash like the PS3 version does.

They've only released the Gaunts right now, some guy on the FO3Nexus is planning to model a Warrior and Genestealers. For me, I'm waiting for a Carnifex. That'd be a worthy foe indeed.

ha, that is quite awesome! where did they get the models from anyway? scratch built, or are they like from DOW II or something? I know DOW and DOWII have the Blood Ravens, but still, they're just Space Marines, so they wouldn't really be all that tough to convert to Dark Angels, altho there are the ones with the cloaks.
What would a Carnifex be used to substitute tho?... maybe a Sentry Bot? but that's too small... me, I would like to see a Deathclaw in the form of a Broodlord. >8D

Well the Space Marine models were modeled using a Brotherhood Paladin as a base. You can see this by inspecting some parts of the model up close (especially the belt.) They don't replace the BOS though.
The Tyranids don't replace anything as well. The author wrote some scripts which allows Tyranids to spawn in the Wasteland without overwriting anything. I guess they were modelled from scratch. You can check them out at fallout3nexus.com

They're just the normal followers from the games, so you can change their equipment, tell them to use ranged or melee weapons, tell them to follow you or attempt to flank the enemy, or you can fire them. xD
