"Indulge yourself Mr. Sulu..."
Awesome. I loved the movie series style of ships. They seemed to have stylized elegance.

Indeed, they had this art deco vibe unmatched by any ship design.

That must have been why I really liked those classes of ships. I felt that the ships from the Enterprise E & dominion war era did't have that elegance feel to me. I do like the ships from the Defiant & Enterprise-D era though like the nebula class ships.

The Ent-E era is a downer because they killed the symmetry of the starship concept. By the ellimination of the neck, the ships have lost something...

-Yeah, I remember back in high school I had a friend who had all the starship books for star fleet battles or the star trek role playing system. The era for the ships was during the ST movie series (I - IV) by FASA. I each time I stayed over at my friends home I absorbed each of the ship books (Klingon, Romulan, Federation). I still have the Romulan book some where...

-Sweet! I'll have to look to getting copies for myself! Is it on the FASA website?

-In that case, I'll keep a look out on Amazon an E-bay. I had a friend who owned the Star Trek - RPG books that did an adventure series when I was in college that was really awesome.
