Description
With the loss of the Enterprise-D at Veridian, the future keepers of the legendary name were facing hard times: the Reman plot, the fallout of the Hobus event, the android uprising, and finally the Borg takeover of Starfleet have left the Enterprises E and F as instruments of war rather those of exploration. With the Borg threat finally eliminated and Starfleet is slowly recovering, the next Enterprise is, perhaps, an intentional throwback to an almost mythical golden age, with a mission focused on the classic principle of boldly going where no-one has gone before.
